Hello, Levka ori - friends!

I plan to walk from Limnia to Chora Sfakion via Timos Stavros, Mouri, Kali Lakkoi, Ag. Pavlos and the Sfakiano gorge. I have walked the gorges before, but I hope someone can give me aprox. times for the following stretches, since I see that this is a pretty long walk:

* Limnia - Ilingas Gorge ( wherethe shepards road meets the gorge)

* Mouri - Kali Lakkoi

* Kali Lakkoi - Ag. Pavlos

Hello Arnulf,

I think, if you take the old path from Anopolis upward to the entrance of the Ilingas gorge (shown in the new 2015 edition of the map), you can calculate about 2 h to get there. From Mouri to Kalloi Lakkoi: About 2 h. From Kalloi Lakkoi down to Agios Pavlos: less than 1 h. Well, these are just rough calculations....

The mule track from Anopolis to the descent to Timos Stavros is not on my Anavasi map, so I will buy the 2015 - version! This muletrack seems very logical for the stretch Anopolis - Kali Lakkoi. Do you know anything of the condition of this track??

Hello Arnulf,
I walked this track this April (see GPS track here).
On some parts it is in very good condition whereas on other parts it is almost non-existent.
But anyway, it is better than walking the Long dirt road!
